A calm, student-first physics space

Hi, I am Dr. Vibha Ayri and I work as an Assistant Professor at Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh. I completed my Ph.D. in Experimental Atomic and Radiation Physics from Punjabi University Patiala and M.Sc in Physics from HP University Shimla. My greatest fulfillment comes from my students and my love for teaching. Watching my students grow, learn and succeed is the driving force behind my dedication to education. I believe in creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students feel inspired to explore their potential and push the boundaries of their knowledge. My academic journey includes high-impact factor publications in reputed journals and international learning experiences, such as conducting advanced experiments in Synchrotron facility ELETTRA, Trieste, Italy and delivering an invited research presentation at the prestigious RAP-24 conference in Spain. These opportunities have enriched my expertise and broadened global perspective. I am deeply committed to supporting my students in their academic and personal growth. I take pride in mentoring them, guiding their research projects, and helping them navigate their career paths. Their achievements are a testament to the impact of a nurturing and stimulating educational environment. At Chitkara University, I am committed to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. I have successfully organized numerous events, including CODEPHY, a unique initiative that integrates coding and physics, fostering interdisciplinary learning and innovation among students. Moreover, I am an Innovation Ambassador certified by the Ministry of Human Resources, underscoring my commitment to fostering creativity and innovative thinking within the academic community.
